Leonard Truck Outfitters (Wilmington shop) installed a Curt Class-III Hitch for a Bike Rack on my wife's '25 VW Tiguan. I first talked with Brennon on the phone a couple of times as my wife was concerned about how the hitch would look on her new SUV. He assured me I could talk with the installer and there was no concern regarding the quality of work. When I brought the car in I did get to talk with Ben (pretty sure that was his name), and expressed our concerns. It took a little over an hour to install and the job was perfect! I could not have asked for better service, quality of work, and an overall friendly group of staff at the shop. The price was very fare and I highly recommend Leonard Truck Outfitters of Wilmington.

I recently had a great experience with Leonard Truck Outfitters. Our utility trailer had been rear-ended, so I reached out and spoke with Jason about getting an estimate for the insurance company. He was quick to help and gave me clear options for repairing it versus replacing it. Replacement ended up being the best route, and Jason worked with me to get exactly what we needed at a great price. He also helped switch out our hitch so it would fit the new trailer. The whole process was quick and easy, we were in and out with our new trailer in about 30 minutes. Jason made everything simple and straightforward, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Leonard Truck Outfitters!

Think twice before purchasing from Leonard. After purchasing a trailer and a camper shell, I purchased a storage bldg. BiG MISTAKE! After years of being weathered the roof system started rotting. When shingles were removed it was discovered that it was built without underlayment/tar paper. I contacted Leonard and was informed that none of their buildings are wrapped to protect against the weather. Their warenty used to be 7 years and now it's only 5 years. I would think that I would have been considered a loyal customer after all the purchases I've made there. But no! Not one bit of compensation for having to replace the entire roofing system. In fact, the local Wilmington manger was not at all friendly or helpful. He was quite cold, blunt, seemed annoyed by my inquiries asking for compensation, and did not offer an ounce of apologies.

Brennan Burnell was very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Very knowledgeable on products , fits , and availability. They have everything from truck products, trailers, and nice outer buildings. Thank you sir.

This was my second trip to Leonard in a few years. They put a tonneau cover on my previous truck and this time they did a larger install on my new truck, putting in a fiberglass camper shell and a Decked system. Buddy was awesome to work with and showed me all the options and helped me select which ones would be best for my needs and uses, not just pushing the highest priced option. On my previous trip, they ordered the wrong part initially and discounted the installation labor when the correct part came in. I got the sense they’re in to making things right. Definitely check them out for truck accessories and installation.
